Description

A small but very bright light for any after-dark outdoor scenario.

Setting up camp after dark would be almost impossible without a full moon or the Kelty Luma Twist Lantern to illuminate the forest. Unlike the rocky mass orbiting above, this LED-powered lantern gives you complete control of the direction and brightness of the beam, and is efficient enough to light your camp for 105 hours.

  • Two 360-degree rotating and pivoting panels give you the ability to light up any aspect of your camp
  • High (140 lumens) and low (80 lumens) settings provide the appropriate light for setting up shelter or playing a game of cards
  • Top switch toggles between off, two-panels, and one-panel options
  • Durable, weather-resistant ABS plastic and aluminum body withstands a sudden shower while you ready camp for the oncoming storm
  • Fold-up design is only 6 x 4 x 4in for easy storage between camping trips

This Light is sweet!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Surprisingly Bright, When i first ordered this i was afraid i would not be enough to light up camp, I mostly use this as a flood light and it works great gives a good amount of light for any cooking area or just playing cards. I recommend you get this light, you will not regret it!

Bright and Useful

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Very bright. I keep this in the back of my car when I'm not using it for a campsite because the two rotating light panels are great for night time roadside use. Had to change a tire after work and this was a time saver. Being able to swivel both lights at the same point is brilliant. Doubles the light available and doesn't waste one side of the lantern. Plus the option to only use one panel is great for saving the battery when you just need a little light. Kinda surprised it uses 4 D batteries but I don't plan on long hikes with this and batteries aren't as expensive as they used to be, so oh well. Would like a rechargeable option at some point in this maybe.

Killer Light

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I turn heads every time I bring this sucker out. It is super bright and the swivel lights are a great concept. It is a little heavy but that is expected when you throw 4 big batteries in it.

Take Luma Twist Camping

The LumaTwist is a fun light. We used it as a campfire when fires were banned due to the dry hot summer. It is awesome for playing cards at base camp. It is easy to adjust the light direction and the battery life is pretty long. The only way i would not recommend it to someone is if they were backpacking or had other space concerns since the LumaTwist is a little larger than some of the other lanterns.

Best light ever

I love this light it is super bright and I love how the two panels are on a swivel so I can either have them facing down onto the table for indirect light or pointed towards where I need them. This is by far the most versatile light I have used, so far I have used it to set up tents, cook, play night bocce ball and fix my sink at home.
