Nice chair!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Sits low to the ground, perfect for sitting around the fire. Beer opener attached to the armrest, like fire and beer go together. Crazy! There is a divider built into the extra large drink holder so it can hold regular cans or bottles or open up for camp cups or nalgenes. Great pocket on the carrying case, will hold 2- 1 liter water bottles. I am a cheap bastard and typically buy $8 camp chairs, never again. This thing is nice.

This is the most comfortable camping chair that I've ever owned. I love the adjustable arms, the burly cup holder, and the mesh side pocket!

The camping chairs I have now have adjustable armrests but they're constantly falling and needing to be readjusted. Do these armrests just move up and down or is there something to secure them?

Hello, my name is Adrian and I work for Kelty. Just cruising the site and noticed your question. The arm rests are indeed adjustable. They use a webbing and ladder-lock adjuster to keep them in place securely. You will not have the same issues that you have with your current chair. Cheers!

This chair rocks

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought two of these for camping and soccer games. They sit lower to the ground which keeps you closer to the fire and further from the smoke. The attached bottle opener is handy. They are better built than others I've owned in the past.

I Bought More

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought two of these chairs two years ago. I just bought two more. They are my go-to every weekend on climbing/camping trips for camp. You sit lower to the ground which gets you a little closer to the fire which is nice. They're not as long when folded up as some others so they take up less space in the car during transport. The cup holder is super wide so a nalgene or GSI fairshare fits in there super-nice ... but there's also a divider so it holds just a beer nicely too. After numerous adventures four of my friends have purchased these chairs as well. They rule, that is all.

Great Chair! Does the job!

solid chair, for sure low to the ground but It worked great fro me (5'9")

GREAT NEWS! The bag that comes with it can hold up to 10 canned beers when packed with the chair. (not including the outside holding pouch) (if you don't mind drinking king of cool beers after a while)

and I would never recommend sneaking beers into any event!

not for sitting. for sleeping.

This chair is so comfortable that I have yet to sit in it for an extended period of time without falling asleep. The cup holder will fit a gatorade or nalgene or multiple beers. Great chair.
