I have seen some sites refer to this tent as a 4 season tent. Would you put it in that category (in other words, can I take it snow camping?) Thanks!
I would not consider this tent a 4-season tent. Yes, you can camp on the snow with it and can get away with it, but it isn't built (materials, poles, etc.) for strong snows and winds like traditional 4-season tents.
Awesome and waterproof!
My wife and I have used this 3 times now and each time it was easy to set up and take down. Our last time out was for a 24hr mountain bike race which POURED on us around 4am for several hrs the night prior to the race. The wind was gusty and thunder was loud but even with the vents open at no point did we feel any mist or water. The storage pockets are very convenient. If you use a blow up mattress, a Full Size mattress fits perfectly and sleeps 2 very well.
really good tent
really easy set up and nice inside storage features. have used it on 4 different occasions and have not yet had it weather tested (been lucky). wish it were a bit lighter but for the money, really good tent!

Does the Gunison Pro come with a footprint?
This does not come with a footprint. Kelty makes a footprint specifically for the Gunnison 2.1 Pro which retails for $34.95.
St Paul Lake - Cabinet Mountains, MT
Backpacking trip up to St Paul Lake in the Cabinet Mountain Range in Montana. Camped at the Lake - hiked up to St Paul Pass the next day.
Love this tent
I love this tent. I've used it backpacking a couple of times so far. A couple times with me and my two dogs - plenty of room for a human and two lab mixes. I've also used it backpacking in the Cabinet Mountains and Glacier National Park in Montana. Both trips included every type of weather imagineable and held up well for two people.

What is the difference between the Gunnison and the Gunny Pro?
The Gunnison Pro features a completely welded fly and grommeted corners (jake's feet on the regular) for the poles. It's an industrial version of the regular Gunnison. Hope this helps...

Is this the Gunnison 2.1 or 2.1 pro? I know it says 2.1 pro but th epictures are of the 2.1. I just don't wna tot buy it and have the wrong thing show up.
It is an incorrect photo. The Gunnison Pro tent body is Grey without the orange hits. The Fly is Orange and completely welded. I have the utmost confidence that BC.com will send you the correct tent.
