Whether you set up camp on dry desert sand or damp mountain moss, the Kelty Gunnison Pro 2 Tent keeps you dry, covered, and protected from the elements. This 2-person, 3-season tent features just two poles, sets up quickly, and adds ample sleeping room to your kit without loading your pack unnecessarily.

  • Waterproof fly and floor fabric feature welded seams for added protection from rainstorms and soggy weather
  • Color-coded clip assembly makes setup quick and easy
  • DAC NSL poles keep weight to a minimum without sacrificing strength or durability
  • Mesh wall panels increase airflow to decrease condensation and stuffiness
  • Internal storage pockets keep your flashlight, maps, and trail wares accessible
  • Dual vestibules give you plenty of covered space for your gear
  • Noiseless zipper pulls let you sneak out to the loo without waking everyone
  • Gear-loft loops enable you to hang your headlamp when it gets dark
  • Footprint available separately

Bottom Line: A roomy tent to take you from spring to fall.

This does not come with a footprint. Kelty makes a footprint specifically for the Gunnison 2.1 Pro which retails for $34.95.

What is the difference between the Gunnison and the Gunny Pro?

The Gunnison Pro features a completely welded fly and grommeted corners (jake's feet on the regular) for the poles. It's an industrial version of the regular Gunnison. Hope this helps...

Love this tent

I love this tent. I've used it backpacking a couple of times so far. A couple times with me and my two dogs - plenty of room for a human and two lab mixes. I've also used it backpacking in the Cabinet Mountains and Glacier National Park in Montana. Both trips included every type of weather imagineable and held up well for two people.

Yeah, that photo is still incorrect, these are actually the Pro version- it is currently showing the Gunnison 2.1 (non-pro).

Here is what the Pro version looks like.

It is an incorrect photo. The Gunnison Pro tent body is Grey without the orange hits. The Fly is Orange and completely welded. I have the utmost confidence that BC.com will send you the correct tent.
