The Kelty Gunnison 1.3 Tent offers dependable protection from the elements at a price that won't completely wreck your bank account. Ideal for solo backpacking trips and car camping adventures, the Gunnison is made with burly materials while maintaining a weight that's still manageable on the trail. With a trail weight just over three pounds, the tent won't weigh your pack down too much when you're getting into those more remote camp sites, but with its 68-denier fly and floor fabric, the tent isn't going to easily tear when high winds rip through your camp.

The vestibule of the tent can be propped up with the help of two trekking poles (not included) to make a small awning when you need to boil water out of the rain or get a little shade on a hot, sunny day. A large D-shaped door makes migration inside the tent after a long night around the campfire as painless as possible.
