When your rectangular sleeping bag isn't quite warm enough, or you just want a summer blanket for car-camping, grab the Kelty Fleece Travel Sheet. Slip this soft fleece sheet into your sleeping bag, or pack the Fleece Travel Sheet for warm-weather road trips. The L-shaped zipper allows for a sleeping-bag-like shape or for fully-opened blanket use. Kelty included roll-up straps and a stuff sack for easy packing.

Bottom Line: Kelty's Fleece Travel Sheet acts as a camp blanket and a super-light sleeping bag for suspicious-looking hostel beds.

Anyone know the type of zipper this uses? I would like this to double as a liner for myself solo or to zip to a sleeping bag to use a double.

EDIT: zooming in I took a shot that it would mate to my summer slumberjack diablo sleeping bag and it does. I ride a motorcycle cross country and encounter many temperature changes so I wanted to have a light summer bag to carry and use this as a liner to increase it's temp rating which is does nicely. So nicely in fact that my 40 degree extra wide summer bag has been toasty down to 18 degrees. Although it was helped with wool socks, long johns and a technical top similar to under armour (Sub Zero).

This is NOT a thin "liner" like some others. which you can see by the stuff size and weight. It is very thick and plush which is exactly what I was looking for. It is also a tad wider than most at 34". But it is stretchy.

Great for tall people - multiple uses

November 1, 2010

My husband has had one for years. Most of the time he uses it as a throw. It stays on better than a flat throw, with the foot zipped. Summers, he uses it instead of a sleeping bag. On cool nights, he uses both.

My son wants one for himself, now, since his dad won't share.

It is big, so I don't know that I'd recommend it for a small person.

Mainly- it's too big. I bought this to use along with my 20 degree bag, but because of its size and weight it wont get much use until warmer seasons

Comfortable - Good Design

I bought this as a liner for a light weight North Face sleeping bag. It's perfect for that, it's also great as a stand-alone bag on a cool night when you don't need a full sleeping bag. Also, it's simple to roll up and secure the straps. Very soft and comfortable.

I have a 6x14 compression sack and can get it down to about 6x10. Which is really not too shabby for something this plush.
