Description

Once you finally get out the door, you’re both traveling in comfort.

Pop the auto-deploy kickstand, slip your child into the Kelty FC 2.0 Kid Carrier's well-padded seat, clip the five-point harness, and hit the trail—it’s as easy as that. Don’t forget to pack the diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, snacks, drinks, binkies, and blankies in the detachable back compartment and under the seat, and to clip a few toys to the toy loops for entertainment. Luckily, Kelty built the FC 2.0 Kid Carrier with a dual-density waist-belt, well-padded shoulder straps, and an adjustable back-panel, so you can carry all this and more in comfort.

difference between 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0. What is FC?

Best Answer Responded on

Carrie - Here are the differences:
1.0 - Basic mesh back panel with minor torso adjustment

2.0 - Air mesh padded back panel, Full torso adjustment, more storage space than FC 1.0

3.0 - Molded padded back panel, Full torso adjustment, same storage space as FC 2.0, includes sunshade and diaper changing pad.

FC = Frame Carrier. All models feature the same frame and cockpit for the child. All Kelty carriers are JPMA (Juvenile Products Manufacturer's Association) certified and considered some of the safest child carriers on the market. For more information on JPMA, go to: http://www.jpma.org/content/safety/overview

Hope this helps.

love it!

We've had an older model of this for about 2 years now. We love it! I'm not very tough, but bought it for hiking while my husband was deployed, I was able to carry my 1 year old on several long hikes with little discomfort (just a little in the shoulders). When my husband came home, he was able to adjust the carrier to his size and he's alot taller and bigger around than I am. Our daughter is now almost 3 and still can ride comfortably. The balance is good even on snowy and steep trails. We constantly get asked where to buy one just like ours. There is also enough room to carry snacks, water, diapers, first aid kit, and a few other odds and ends - and we can keep dirty stuff separate from the food which comes in handy.
