When you go on your family fishing trip to Mirror Lake this summer, don't forget the important, the necessary, the Essential Chair by Kelty. A steel frame means it holds strong when your son throws it against the rocks, or your daughter backs into it with the Suburban. Adjustable arms make it comfy for your littlest one to play bus driver in, and an adjustable beverage holder nicely grasps your wife's Lexan water bottle or your mother-in-law's diet cola. Side mesh pockets and a back pocket can house all sorts of captured creeping critters and 600D polyester mini-ripstop holds it together when dragged upside down across camp to be integrated into the stick fort.
Bottom Line: Family vacations are the best. Now where did I put that ibuprofen?

Good, but Mesh chair is better

This chair has the exact same dimensions and functionality as the Kelty Mesh Chair, but without the mesh. Mesh is stronger (compare the weight limits), lighter, breathable for outdoor sitting (which is kinda the point) and only $10 more than this chair. I highly recommend the mesh chair (obviously), but if you hate mesh for some reason, this chair is very good, too.

Great chair. Comfy. Easy to get back into the bag.
Two things that where not pointed out in the description..
1. it has an integrated bottle opener on a lanyard right beside the bottle holder.
2. The over sized bottle holder in picture actually has a divider that fits drinks in there nice and snug. Also, the drink holder is insulated.
Overall, i like this chair. If someone breaks this one like they did my last camping chair, i would totally buy another one.
