KEEN Winterport II Winter Boot - Men's - 2009 BCS

Bought these for hubby but it ripped on first use in the snow. It was warm and comfortable and waterproof. It has good traction but the fabric ripped along the seams on one of the boots. Otherwise, it's a really nice pair of boots and good looking one too.

I am in love with these boots- light, warm and comfortable- no rubbing or bunching. These are not stiff and constricting like the other boots I have tried. I live in my keen sandals for most of the year and am so glad to have found these to get me through the winter. I have extremely high arches and wide feet. Normally wear a womens 8 but the mens 8 with winter socks fit perfect. Just incase any other ladies are thinking about Keen Winterport II's- I returned my Womens Winterport II's and bought these instead. I feel like Keen really sacrificed function for fashion with the womens boots- they do not have the pull tabs that these do and are not as easy to get on.

This is The most comfortable boot I've ever owned. keeps your feet warm and dry and they are easy on and off I would recomend this boot to anyone.

I am 60 years old and have never had a boot that was both comfortable and warm until I bought these. My toes always would freeze and it was a pain to put the boots on- but no longer. I wore these boots in knee high snow for 7 hours straight and my feet never got wet or cold in three straight days of working outside in Montana winter weather. I love the quick tie system and the soft and waterproof material and they even look great. I was so impressed I just bought Keen sandals and Keen hiking boots as well. I wish I had discovered Keen years ago. I have wide feet and most of my shoes will cramp the toes, but Keen is made wider with a big toe box that doesn't scuff up. Smartest boot ever made. So why aren't they still listed on Keen's web site?

Warm in a blizzard. Dry in the rain. And best of all, light as a feather.

Bought these for my husband after another pair from a different company did not come. This was the smarter place to order and I'm so happy with the service and purchase I thought the need to write a review. Happy accident I guess to find Backcountry. He's brutal on his shoes in the winter, they usually dont make it through the winter without sprouting a leak. Hes on his feet all day in the elements and these boots are holding up like a champ. He says they are totally comfy and feather light too. Im happy that this company delivered what they said they would on time. thanks

I bought this boot because I have 2 dogs and live on the 3rd story of a condo building. Thought these would be great for a quick step in boot on those deep pow days or the crazy below 0 temps we have been having here in AK. I was helping a buddy load a UHAUL truck yesterday in -9 degree weather, and my feet were numb. I am not sure if these things are so warm that my feet are sweating and then the breathable membrane is letting the cold air get to my feet or what? These are super light weight for what they look like, and are very comfortable, but not impressed with the warmth.
