The Whisper’s stretch, quick-dry mesh lining features the environmentally friendly AEGIS Microbe Shield to control odors, so you don’t have to be embarrassed when your shoes come off.

Had to return mine for a half size bigger. Don't make the mistake of ordering your normal size even though others claim they run "true to size"!

I like Keen shoes. However, these sandals still feel small although I went up a half size. They are comfortable as if walking barefoot. I slip out of them while walking and around the top of my foot. it seems as though my foot stops at that point. I have to wiggle it on for my toes to touch the front of the shoe. I have to be careful wearing the shoe because it works itself off my foot because of the walking movement! I'm disappointed with this purchase even though I like shoes.

I'm generally very happy with these sandals. They look great, and they're super comfortable. The only problem is that my feet sweat when they get hot, and when that happens they can slide around a bit. But it hasn't really been bothering me the way it seems to have for other reviewers. They still stay on, and mostly it's only a problem when I'm driving (because essentially having my heel on the floorboard kind of pushes the shoe up/off a bit.

But I don't regret buying these, I really like them.

Very comfortable slide -- and stays on the foot well. The size runs small in general and for KEEN (compared to the H2 footbed), so order a 1/2 size up; I ordered an 8 instead of my usual 7.5 and it fits well.

For KEEN H2 wearers, in addition to the sizing difference, this footbed is different. For me, the footbed is better; I've found the H2s aren't as comfortable as they could be.

As usual, great price on Backcountry.

Keen makes a great sandal. Backcountry gets it here quick and reliable. Love the gearhead knowlege

I need to know how "true to size" these shoes are. I wear an 8 - 8.5 in heels but a 9 - 9.5 in running shoes. I'm not sure what size to get here.

Keen runs true. I take a 8,5 and all my keens are the same. You want your foot IN THE footbed

Contrary to "Kathy," I believe they run small by about a half-size -- both in my own experience and by one of the more recent (2012) reviews. I'd suggest ordering more toward your athletic shoe size. Also, do a Backcountry "chat" and order two sizes; the rep can place the order for you and include a return kit, knowing that you'll return at least one pair.

I'm with Kathy on this one. I found mine to be true to size as well (ordered in 2012).
