Why We Like The Whisper Sandal
We pull on the KEEN Whisper Sandal before taking on water adventures, everywhere from the white caps at the Royal Gorge to the gentle waters of the Long Island Sound. Keen gave this implemented a heel strap and quickdraw elastic cord to ensure we don’t lose our sandals when we step into rushing water.
The polyester webbing with anti-odor treatment prevents your feet from smelling like a riverbed when you’re back at camp, and KEEN’s patented toe protection prevents underwater debris from slowing you down. The EVA footbed keeps your dogs comfortable for the long haul, and the grippy rubber sole helps you stay upright on slippery surfaces.

Back of shoe is too tight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The part of the sandal that goes around the back is too tight. Also, the sides under the lateral ankle bone is too high. I like the old style/shapes better.

Great sandal with a snug opening
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Whisper sandal is another great keen sandal. It's trim and comfortable as I expected. The opening into the sandal is snug if, like me, you have a high arch. Have worn the Newport sandal for years but wanted to try the Whisper bc it's "trim and comfortable." I'm keeping the sandal bc I like the look and the opening will stretch a bit over time. If you have a high arch, you may want to try the Newport, instead.

Best ever sandals
Love Keen whisper sandals. Have worn them for years. I have no foot, ankle, knee, or back pain wearing them.

LOVE THEM!
I bought my first pair of Whispers a couple of years ago. I have had a back surgery, but am in pretty good shape and work out. I groom dogs, so am on my feet 9 hours at a time without sitting, then run up and down stairs all day since I groom from my basement. I put these on one day to work in and now won't work in any other shoe. I have expensive cushioned tennis shoes, and other "support" shoes but by the end of the day my feet are aching. Not in these!! I plan to get another pair and try some hiking shoes to walk in! Best shoes I have ever had for all day support and comfort!

Best water shoes,
I was given a pair of these second hand and wore them for ocean and stream walking and hiking. They are very comfortable and fit so well.

Just as you'd want!
Perfect Keen shoe. As always. Slimmer and less rubber which is nice for spring/summer look. Color of fabric is good. I have a slim foot, heal and these are great. Very comfortable. Wear instantly out of the box.
