The Men's Ventura Canvas Shoe is Keen's first vegan option—though we don't recommend eating it. The Ventura features a comfy natural canvas upper and a non-marking natural rubber outsole that won't let you slip on the grass or slick concrete. Keen's removable metatomical footbeds support your feet for all-day comfort. *Note: Footbeds have latex in them.
Bottom Line: The Venturas taste terrible—even with soy sauce—but they feel great on your feet.

In a previous review I complained about a misapplied shipping feed. Well, BackCountry promptly issued a refund. Now I'm happy with the great shoes and quick service.

Any men's canvas tennis shoes are hard to find; good ones even more difficult. I order a pair and was so please with them I order five more pairs just in case they went out of stock. The cost was way over $50 and I chose the slowest shipping, so I assumed my shipping would be free as promised. I was wrong. So even though I'm quite happy with the product, it is doubtful I will purchase from backcountry again. The five stars are for the quality of the shoes.

I'm a devotee of Keen and was so happy to find the Ventura. The fit is a bit different from the usual Keen fit -- the toe box is a not as high, the insole is not as comfortable -- but they're great looking. I replaced the Keen insole with the Spenco PolySorb Walker/Runner insole and I was good to go. I can stand on unforgiving cement and work for 12 hours with no pain/fatigue whatsoever. Love the Venturas!

I have throughly enjoyed every pair of Keen's I have ever owned and this pair was right up there. The looks are the best in comparison to other shoes in the same category. Great quality and value. The insole is not comfortable but thanks to a previous post I was prepared and not disappointed at all. Any after market insole will work. Great with shorts and slacks alike. Can't go wrong for the price. I would not use them on hikes though. Strictly a stylish leisure shoe.

I bought a pair of these in green a few years back. I love them so much I had to get another pair. The off-white is great!

Comfy - simple, and as the title says, the kids say they are cool.
A grown-up sneaker that looks like it's for a kid. They run a little big.
