Keen's Targhee II Mid TAC Men's Hiking Boot is an updated version of the original Targhee II, with some added details and some ounces removed. The nubuck upper is soft and supple, but it's the Keen.Dry waterproof and breathable membrane that's the real moneymaker, able to keep your feet dry, cool, and comfortable in wet and dry conditions. The Targhee's burly rubber sole is outfitted with deep multidirectional lugs to keep you from slipping, and the design features both an ESS shank and heel support structure to provide stability, arch support, and a non-slip fit that helps reduce pain and blisters. It also boasts a molded EVA midsole and removable EVA footbed for comfort and cushioning, so you can handle tricky trails without feeling like your feet have been through a meat grinder.
