You think that the wool uppers and leather outsoles on your Keen Sun Valley Slippers look like a warm and delightful way to travel from your bed to the refrigerator for a midnight snack. Your dog, on the other hand, thinks that they look absolutely delicious and wonders why you don’t just stay in bed and gnaw on the slippers themselves. It’s amazing how two sentient beings can look at the same thing and come to drastically different conclusions regarding its ultimate use.

Bottom Line: Then again, maybe your dog knows something you don’t.

Good start; won't finish the race

I am a big fan of KEEN. And when I bought these slippers mid-winter (four months ago), I was really pleased with them. But they are already wearing out - broken stitching and holes in the felt outer layer; and this is strictly from indoor use. They are not going to finish this race, won't stick the finish, and will not summit. Looks elsewhere for indoor foot comfort.

They're OK...

I work from home, so I sit in my slippers most of the time. Pros: these slippers are really comfortable and in the winter they keep your feet nice and toasty. Cons: if you get the leather sole wet, they kind of "stick" to the floor and they won't last long if you wear them outside for trips to the mailbox. Also, I haven't really fallen in love with the low rise heel, as I have a feeling like they're constantly falling off (in fact, though, they are on securely).

Net-net, next time I'll go back to a slipper that has a rubber sole and a standard heel.

They do seem to fit true to size.

Awesome slippers

Got them off SAC, well made, true to size, and the fleece lining is nothing short of luxurious. Only draw back is that they are so warm, if the weather isn't below freezing I need to take them off every half hour or so b/c my feet are sweating.
