So far, so good.

Bought these end of season, or so I thought. Winter decided to stick around for an extra month and I was very glad to have them. I've got around 30 full 10+ hour days in these boots. My work has me constantly inside and outdoors in 1-2 ft of snow. They are comfortable enough that I didn't need to change footwear while inside. Initially the side of the tongue rubbed my shins when wearing thinner socks, so I wore them loosely laced for several days and that issue worked itself out.

They have kept my feet both dry and warm. Even stomping through slush puddles my feet remained dry. The tongue isn't gusseted very high so I would take them wading, but for snow they have done good so far. Surprisingly my feet do not sweat in these boots. I attribute that to going a 1/2 size up and having just a little extra space to breath.

Traction is decent. The only stability issues I've had is on pure ice and nothing short of metal spikes helps with that. A little bulkier than regular boots, but haven't caused any issues with driving.

I'm very happy with these boots. If they hold up through the miles and winters to come, I'd say they are the best winter boot I've used.

    So far, so good.

    My Go to boot

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I ordered these in an 11 in the Black/Dark Earth color and am generally a size 11 in boots/shoes however they are a little big, so I just always wear a thicker wool sock with them for shoveling the walks or heading up to mountains. As far as the construction they are very well built. I have yet to even get close to getting cold or wet in these. I wanted an alternative to always borrowing my dads 15 year old Sorels and these are the one!
