The Keen Women's Portola Shoes give you the comfort of a tennis shoe and a casual style that's a step up from your sneakers. The suede upper has a canvas binding that adds some pizzazz to these casual shoes. Keen gave the Portola Shoes a removable metatomical footbed that cushions your foot just like your favorite sneaker. A secure flat lace design gives you a secure fit.
Bottom Line: Wear the Keen Portola Shoes down to the farmers' market and impress all your friends with your ability to blend style and comfort.
I bought these shoes a year ago and have worn them daily. I was a little discouraged at first because my heels were rubbing to the point where it was painful, but once I got them broke in they were wonderful and still are. They have good arch support, which I need, and once I wore them down I bought inserts so I could continue wearing them. I'm on my feet 8-12 hours per day and these are the only shoes I've worn where my feet aren't aching by the time I'm done with work. I don't always wear socks when I'm out-and-about and after a year these shoes (and my feet) don't ever smell. They look different but I've gotten a lot of compliments on their unique style. I am very satisfied.
I first tried on a pair of KEEN shoes 2 years ago and should have just bought them. But at the time I couldn't justify the money and so I let them go. My feet have been dreaming of those shoes ever since.
I read a lot of reviews and followed the advice to purchase a pair 1/2 size up from what I usually wear. When the shoes arrived I slipped them on and knew immediately that they were too big. What a disappointment!
I sent them back with no problem (at my expense because I live in Canada... $$$) and ordered my regular size. I waited for those shoes. I dreamed of those shoes... and after some border delay... they arrived just in time for our holidays.
I LOVE THESE SHOES! My feet love these shoes. They are the first pair I reach for in the closet. I can't wait to order my next pair in a more neutral colour.
No hesitations to recommend a pair of KEEN shoes. If you have the chance, I'd suggest trying on a pair in store just to make sure you have the right size. There was nothing worse than watching my husband walk around in his new KEEN's while I shipped mine back and waited for a new delivery.
Write your question here...Is this shoe available in other colors possibly the one that all the angle views are of? Or is it only available in brindle?

I'm an average 9 1/2 size in casual shoes, but I got a size 10 in these and they were a bit too large. So I sent them back for a 9, which worked out. I've had a couple of people comment that they look like "clown shoes" though. However, they are comfortable!
I'm a professional photographer-----we wear Keens. The Portola takes me everywhere, does everything & are charmngly dorky looking. ( Only Keen style I will wear)Worth every cent as they are really well made. At the end of a long day of shooting, my feet are ready for anything. But it is hard to find them---they seem to fly off the shelves. My only complaint is that I cannot believe Keen is discontinuing all the great colors---this year's models are black & sludge.
I always wear keens - i have back problems, knee problems, you name it, and keens help a ton. These are Keens with good support and nice sturdy soles (some keens have wimpy soles). In addition, they are cute as hell - i've gone thru 2 pairs of the green/green portolas and get so many compliments every time i wear them. (and i'm about to buy them in another color.)
the only issue i have is the top edge of the heel rubs and so i can't wear them many days in a row (but i have a pointy tendon/ankle/heel bit there so this may not be a problem for others.)
These are not wet weather shoes. They're nice and breathable, good for my hot feet.
I bought these shoes for work, and they are very comfortable. The bottom of the shoe says it's anti-slip, and I've noticed that I seem to have better traction on slippery floors. I always wear a 9.5, but when I tried these on they seems a bit too big. I ended up ordering a 9, and they fit perfectly! These shoes are very high quality and I've ordered 2 more pairs of Keens!
This is my second pair of KEEN shoes and I am delighted with them. I found a pair of KEEN Presidio's on a clearance rack and bought them because they fit ok and looked fun. After a few hours, they fit great. After 6 months of wearing them every day and even a lot of 12 hour night shifts, I can happily say that they fit still great and I LOVE them. My foot is sometime hard to fit but these do a great job. I got my Portolas in the mail today and I'm already wearing them for a 12 hour shift. After a few years of 12 hour shifts and clogs, it is wonderful to find shoes that don't leave my feet and joints sore at the end of the night.
