What is the width of the shoe, i.e. medium, narrow, etc?
The width on the Pearson is D+, which is between Med and Wide.
Keens tend to be great shoes for people with wide feet. Really comfortable and last almost forever as well.
Do you like a spongy ride?
This shoe looks good and feels good on. Walking in it is a diffrent matter. The tongue on the right shoe will slip to the left after a period of time and the footbed feels like a waterbed - its quite sloshy and rolls from side to side. I have has many KEEN shoes and have loved them, but this model doesnt cut it :(
Nice shoe. Size runs small.
Very nice shoe. I would have loved to have keep them but unfortunately they ran a little small for my feet. I own other Keens and love them but this model does not fit like my others. I ordered the same size I wear in my other Keens but these were much tighter and not the comfortable fit I'm used to. So they have to go back. Order a size larger than you normally wear and you will probably be happy with these.
I work at a food production plant that involves a lot of splashing water so I was looking for a shoe that was waterproof but still looked somewhat professional. I decided on the Keen Pearson Lace and so far I love them. I read some reviews before I bought them about them being too warm. I have not found that to be the case at all. My feet are somewhat narrow so I was a little hesitant to get Keen, being known as a wide shoe, but so far they feel great to me, of course,I am just walking in them and not running or hiking. The only negative thing I can say so far is that when I first started wearing them the heel strike felt a little awkward, not enough to bother me at all but noticeably different than my other shoes. After a few days of wearing them, however, I do not even notice it anymore. Overall great shoe for what I was looking for.
