Poor quality - known design defect with the stitching on these shoes. I brought them to the Keen factory store on Portland OR and was assured that I could get a credit for them since they were defective. I did not hear anything for a week and finally called them. The company refused to issue any type of credit or accept a return in spite of the obvious and acknowledged design defect. Why do business with a company that does not stand behind their products? Buyer beware.

Very Poor Quality

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I really like Keen shoes, but something about this design is bad. I wore these shoes maybe 5 or 6 times and a seam completely blew out. The shoes are useless. (btw, they were really comfortable while they lasted).

Poor Quality

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I've had the shoes since December 2013. Worn very little during the winter, so about two months worth of 4 day/week wear in an office. The stitching is ripping out. I like Keen, generally, but these are exceptionally poor quality shoes. The stitching is small and poorly done. Recommend strongly against buying.

Great Slip On in PNW

Not sure what happen with the other reviews, but my experience rocked. Living in Seattle I soon also lived in my Keen Ontario's that were a gift. They were everything I expect from Keen footwear, great comfort, craftsmanship and kept my feet dry throughout the rainy season.

I walked a few miles at least 200 plus days for 2 years, and most know me as the "Shoe Guy" in Seattle. They rock!

I'd snag up another pair if they had my size.

Full disclosure here I have only worn Keens for the last 7 years. Every other shoe I have bought from them has been of exceptional quality. This pair was not up to Keen standards. I wore them for two days and the seam began to come apart. I returned them and got the old reliable Austins. Buyer beware if it were not for BackCountry's great return policy I would have been out $100. Get another type of Keen not these.

Decent shoe but poor quality hide finish

I made a purchase on KEEN Ontario Slip-On Shoe based on the great photo provided by Keen. Well, when I received it, what a big disappointment on the poor quality it had on the leather quality. The hide dying process was done poorly. It had a ugly flat dark brown which look like a dirty brown. I could not tell if it was dark brown or black. Just horrible. I got this on 50% off and I still returned it. I was so surprised by the flat unflattering finish, I call to tell Keen customer service how good it could have been if the leather finish was done just like the photo. Just too bad on this one.
