I am so glad to be back in a pair of Keens. I tried another brand of sandal after my last pair of Keens had been put out to pasture, but it wasn't the same. No fussing with tightening straps or buckles, just easy on and go. I love the softer footbed of the Newport vice the H2 and it dries nearly as fast. As always great toe protection. I look forward to many miles in my new pair of Newports.

I selected a full size larger than regular & they fit perfectly. I have a wide foot & my little piggies are very comfortable, no rubbing or squeezing. The overall support is similar to a running shoe with a slightly stiffer sole. I literally opened the box, put them on & have been wearing them since - no complaints at all
I wear them in & around salt water all day. I drive in them - even had the odd skate in them!
disappointed with these sandals

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
After about 6 months, dye from the sandals leached onto my skin and toenails.

I wore out one pair of this sandal and am now on my second pair. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I usually wear them with socks, which keeps my sweaty feet very comfortable, and allows the perspiration to evaporate. Normally, I wear a wide width shoe, but this one fits fine in the standard width. My only complaint with the first pair I owned is that the rubber sole started delaminating from the leather upper. But that was after about two years. Nothing lasts forever . . . .

This is my second pair of Keen Newport sandals. When I first received them, they felt extremely small and narrow even though I ordered the same size as my other pair. I sent them back to get a 1/2 size larger pair which fit much better. However, these Newport's feel much stiffer and less comfortable than my first pair which felt great from day one. I'm a little disappointed with these. Hopefully they will get more comfortable with wear.

This is by far the most comfortable and durable sandal I have ever worn. Love the cushion and style of these. I bought the wren green/brown color...Sharp looking.
Highly recomm these sandals by Keen. Oh, I suggest going up one whole size for a better fit. Normally, I wear 11, I ordered size 12 instead. Good call! These ROCK!!! Columbus, OH

The Newport sandle is made very well. I had bought cheaper brands and thought one day I would go ahead and buy the expensive ones. I am now returning the sandles because I could not find a size to fit comfortably. The problem is the insole part where your toes go. There is a ridge that is supposed to fit between the toes and the pad of your foot. I could not get a size that would fit that had the ridge in the right place. Maybe it's just me. I am trying a pair of the Keen water shoes that do not have the ridge, and they seem to fit better.
great sandal

This is the 3rd pair of these that I've had in the last 8 years. Each pair will hold up to whatever I throw at them. Thousands of miles on each pair through creeks, mud, snow and just walking to the store. Wash them a few times a year and their good. I wear them year round here in North Carolina and rarely have anything else on my feet cause these are SO comfortable. Never do they have an odor. Sizing: I wear size 13 in dress shoe, 14 in running shoes and 14 in these.

Write your question here...do these Newpot SANDALS COME IN A WIDE WIDTH
jer2482335

Hey Sandy,
The Newport in Women is a C width and in Men it's a D+ width. The newport runs small, so go up a half size.
The KEEN footwear only comes in one width.
The Venice has more volume over the forefoot than the Newport, so it will fit a wider foot.
Thanks, Jerry

Bought these just before leaving on a 3 month trip to Sierra Leone with my university. The Newports never left my feet throughout the entire trip. I can not imagine how I would have tolerated 12+ hours on my feet everyday without these. They were comfortable, durable, and protective.
These were my first Keens and never again will I own sandals from another company. Thank you Keen!
Raised area in toe bed

Seem like a good sandal. Still trying to get used to the raised area in the toe box on the foot bed. I guess it's supost to fit in the nuckle area of your toes. Not all feet are created equal. Some times it seems cool for grip when not using the back strap. Other times it seems like a pressure point.
Great sandal

I absolutely love this sandal's fit and comfort. I had to go one size bigger than I normally wear but they fit and feel perfect. They look great too. I have had many women wonder what brand they are and say they like the way they look. Make sure to buy one size larger than you normally wear!
