Why We Like The Newport H2 Sandal
Even in a well-maintained boat sans holes, your chances of getting your feet wet are extremely good. Enter the Keen Newport H2 Sandal with a design that protects your toes and a non-marking sole to keep the deck clean. A fully synthetic upper puts hydrophobic material against your skin and keeps it dry. The Newport H2's hybrid shoe/sandal design is more comfortable than a full shoe and protects your foot better than a sandal. The unique anatomical outsole gives superb traction and support on sea and land, and an antibacterial footbed controls moisture and keeps the stank under control.

Looks good
I like the way they look but the size I've worn for 40 years was wrong. I think it best to get up 1/2 size.

Great shoes for beach and
Great shoes for beach and water activities; the best things is the toe protection when navigating close to rocks that are not clearly visible. Awesome shoes.

Paradisicalness
Wore them to Arkansas and the back woods of southeastern Kamas thru streams, up hills, streets, and the bush the first week I had therm. Haven't had a pair of shoes I love so much since I was a kid. They're instantly broke in by adjusting the straps and can be worn all day long. Look great with or without socks and get a lot of compliments. Everywhere you go it's like walking in paradise.

Sandals Finally had to be Replaced
After many years of loyal service (and being partly chewed by our dog Ruby) my original pair of Keen sandals were finally retired last Fall. Just ordered a new pair of Newports and am looking forward to many years of adventures in them!

Best water shoe!
Man, I honestly couldnt be happier with how these feel on my feet. They are incredibly comfortable. Time will tell, but it seems like the webbing will dry quickly when wet, and stay durable through years of use. I also love that there is a low heel to toe drop, making a more natural foot angle. The soles with the agressive lugs and traction are great for scaling wet rock or while camping.

Glue lets go
I have owned several pairs of keen sandals including the Newport H2. they are very comfortable but I never got the chance to wear any of them out since the glue they use to attach the sole to the rest of the shoe always falls apart.
