KEEN Missoula Boot - Men's - 2009 BCS

Bought a pair for the el nino season we've been having in california. My keen sandals are my favorites, and these slip-on boots are almost as comfortable. I've been wearing them for 2 mile walks with my dog in the rain, and have had no pain or discomfort. Great traction on wet surfaces too. My only complaint is that after this year, Cali will probably have another 5 year drought and these boots will just sit in my closet!

I'm an avid Keen wearer across all seasons. Something about the way their shoes conform to my feet whether it be a boot that can easily slip on/off for daily casual wear or the sandal I wear all summer long through the mud, sweat and wet of my summer. I will be honest, I was eager to test out the new sole composition from the my previous Missoula boot and I will say that I'm pleasantly surprised by the weight reduction it brought and grip it maintained. I was sold, still sold and will continue to be a loyal buyer.

This is one of the most outstanding pieces of footwear I've ever purchased. It took me awhile to finally get around to trying KEEN, but now I am fully on board. This boot, which I bought for street use in wintertime, provides excellent traction on urban snow and ice and with a wool sock is also fairly well insulated. No fear at all of feet getting wet or cold from slush or puddles. And it looks cool, if you don't mind the "fat toe" look.

But above all, it's *the* most comfortable boot I've ever purchased, and I've owned just about everything. You put it on and forget it's there. We just got a pair for our 3 year old son and he loves them too. Nothing but praise pleasing both father and son.

The one thing to know is: these boots are run small. I went a good 1.5 sizes up from normal to get a good fit with wool socks.

I bought two pair... One for my son; and one for my husband.
The fit is great; very comfy and warm.
