Venturing to your next camp spot could take hours to get to, so it helps to have the comfort and support of the Keen Men's Logan Mid Hiking Boot. With an EVA footbed and polyurethane midsole, the boot absorbs the shock so you feel like you’re gliding on clouds. Underneath that cushion is a rugged, flexible outsole made from high-traction rubber that provides security on slick rocks and scree. Despite the technical construction, this boot is lightweight while still offering stability with its TPU shank. Even if your journey involves trekking through water, the waterproof KEEN.DRY membrane keeps you dry while the synthetic textile and mesh upper offers breathability.

    Fantastic boot

Great boot, pretty bulky and boxy but I can't see any terrain that would do any damage to this boot. I'm hoping it holds up well against the rain. I can't stand a boot that says it's waterproof but I end up having wet socks. If these boots are indeed waterproof it's the perfect hiking boot. Excellent ankle support. Almost feels like a ski boot, the laces are great as well. Could be used as cordage if needed

Not what I expect from KEEN

Not a bad boot, but lacks the quality that I am accustom to from KEEN.

Ran about a half size small. VERY WIDE.

      I returned these.

      If only...

If only they had held up. By far the most comfortable thing that I've ever had on my feet out of the box. But after wearing them about 3-5 times (and only around the house/driveway/garage) a 2"x3" section of the sole just fell off. I've owned around 6 pair of Keens, and the soles always end up falling apart, either in layers or all together, but it has been after heavy use in the past.

I guess their glue just isn't a good as it needs to be. Return service from Backcountry was great though!

Best out of the box brand

Keen makes some of the best hiking boots out there with almost no break in time for some. The Targhee was my first hiking boot that required no break in time. This boot does run a little small and I usually wear a ten. Based on other reviews I've read online I went a full size up and with my Darn Tough hiking socks these fit like a glove. I would consider these a light hiker and only use them for light packing, day hikes or fast packing but they are comfortable and stable with no hot spots and stick to every surface so far with confidence.

        Serious Let Down

Ordered these for my husband for an 83 mile backpack trip. He wears a 10.5 in all his shoes and boots. Reviews said these ran half size small and with backpacking boots, you always add a half size. So, ordered an 11.5. Boots came in and his toes rubbed the tip badly. At that point I called BackCountry and customer service was amazing. They immediately shipped out a 12 to me, now keep in mind, my husband has NEVER worn a size larger than an 11, so here we are ... the 12 is too small as well. Possibly a design flaw? That's the only way to explain the need for so many people to complain that these boots run small. I am sending these back for a refund and will not be purchasing Keen boots again. I will stick with Merrell..

        Poor quality, Poor design

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Fit: True to size

The interior fabric of the heel cups is ruffled, which caused severe and painful abrasions on the skin of my Achilles after only one day of use.
