I recently wore my new Keen "slippers" walking all over Washington, D.C. My feet were warm and very comfortable. They are perfect even for me, and I have an issue with my right big toe. I did buy a size bigger though.

Love the warmth and comfort. Love the traction. But boy are they difficult to put on, perhaps more so because I have high arches. In spite of that, I'm wearing them every day because they are warmer than anything else I own and they are over-the-top comfortable and supportive.

I wear Keen Targhee's or H2's every day...are these slippers the same as their shoes-run small order a half size up as per usual? I need a slipper that can go indoor/outdoor.

The Howser Slipper will fit truer to your size, so don't go up a half size.

The opening to these is too narrow. If you can get your foot in them, they are nice to wear, but I want a slipper that I can easily put on in the middle of the night. This take too much effort.

Bought these a size bigger as I have a wide foot. Could not get these on. The sides are very high and not enough give in the elastic.

These are the best slippers! My wife and I both have a pair, she actually has three pairs over the last three years. I would say the only thing they could do here is make a slip on version to add to the collection. I also advise to waterproof them, I waterproof everything so for me its normal but it really helps keep them clean. It also allows me to were them everywhere!

I am going on a 4 day trek and need some lightweight night time footwear. Does anyone know how much these weigh?

The Howser in a mens size 9 weighs 22 ounces per pair. Not the lightest slipper, but it's a slipper you can get out of your tent in the middle of the night when nature calls and not worry about your feet or in the morning walk down to the creek and pump water for breakfast in.

It has a natural rubber out sole for grip and a removable foot bed for great support.

First, I have to say thank you to Back Country.com. Your customer service was outstanding!

As for my Keen slippers, they are fantastic! Warm and cozy. And better yet, you can wear them outside! If you are looking for something to keep your feet warm, they are the ticket!
