The 4mm lugs and ESS shank-reinforced midsole give you the stability you need to tackle a burly trail, while the leather, webbing, and mesh material offer less bulk and less weight than your heavy hiking boots. The Removable Metatomical Footbed offers plush cushioning on those rocky sections, and the rubber outsole sticks like glue to slippery surfaces.

They are very comfortable with a good wide toe box, even though I had to get half a size smaller through the outlet. There is a little bit of the sole peeling away from the side of the shoe after several weeks of hard use, but nothing shoe goo won't fix.

I purchased the Gunnison's, made by Keen after buying 5 other different pairs of Keens which I love.
The first pair of Gunnisons were shipped to me and were coming apart at the seams within 2 weeks.
The second pair have also come apart at the seams within 2 weeks and I am VERY disappointed.
I would warn people to avoid the Gunnison as it is a poor quality shoe with poor quality craftsmanship.

As another reviewer mentioned these were coming apart at the seams after the 3rd day out hiking. Also I have wide feet but these shoes are even wider and don't give good support when scrambling. Disappointed.

I own a couple of Keen shoes. They are all comfortable and fit well. You need a half size larger. Good pair of shoes!

What can I say, the shoes speek for them selves, realy worth every penny. The shoes were shipped the next day and I had them in seven days. Very satisfied with the experience
