Dream Coronado / we’d love to eat you but you’re / sadly just a shoe.

Keen made your new favorite spring and summer shoe—the Women’s Coronado Shoe. No, you don’t necessarily have to write them a thank you note. But a poem would do it justice—maybe a sonnet sequence paying tribute to the Coronado’s soft canvas uppers, recycled aluminum eyelets, recycled cork footbeds, and kickin’ style. If you’re short on time or can’t think of enough rhymes, just go for a haiku.

    so comfy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 7.5

I originally bought these in an 8 but they absolutely run true to size so I had to return for a 7.5. These are some of the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. I got them to replace my every day errand shoes and they certainly fit the bill. I could wear them all day and they look great with any outfit!

    great shoe, runs small

I've gone through two pair of suede Keen Coronado kicks now, and wear a size 9 in those. This canvas pair (in awesome black canvas w/ red stitching) runs a touch small relative to the other Keens. Try ordering a half-size larger than you normally would in other Keen shoes.

      Keen - Awesome as always

Don't understand the negative reviews of these shoes. I have three pair and love them. As with all Keen shoes they are extremely comfortable and you will get all kinds of compliments as well. I own 20+ pairs of Keen shoes from sandals and sneakers to a couple of pair of hiking boots - you just can't beat them. The only shoes I have ever worn that didn't hurt my feet. Pretty much the only brand I buy. Yes they are sometimes pricey but you get the quality you pay for and when it comes to your feet - well worth the money.

        Cute but beware

These shoes are really cute and I got tons of compliments. Beware though, I returned my first pair because they were defective-the material was separating from the soles in the same spot on both shoes. I did end up getting another pair because I liked them a lot, hoping they don't break again. You might need some heel cushion with these, especially if you wear them barefoot. The blue color is quite bright but it helps to use the off white laces that come with them. I originally had the violet quartz color which was beautiful!

          yikes

I generally LOVE all Keen shoes and have many pairs, so I was really looking forward to these cute shoes.

They are by far the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned.

They are stiff, high in the sides and heel so much they are impossible to wear for any length of time.

            Great shoes - Keen Coronado

I love my Keen Coronado shoes. I crew for a Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer team that did the 3-Day 60 mile walk. I wore the shoes all three days of the walk and my feet felt great. I have done the 60 mile walk two other years other than this past year. Lots of people ask me about the shoes and where I got them. I told everyone about Backcountry.com and what great prices you have online.

              ugh

I had to retire my much loved Venturas, so got these to replace them. Granted the Venturas are the most uncomfortable Keens I own, I loved how they looked with capris.

These look cute, but my goodness they are so stiff!! they feel like they were dipped in glue, the canvas is so unforgiving they cut into my ankle bone. The soles are so slippery I would easily slip on my wood floors at home. They also fit smaller length wise than other Keens, I'm usually a steadfast 7.5 but my toes are touching the end of these shoes. Like Venturas, no arch support. You'd think Keen would have improved upon the previous generation Venturas by adding more support and durability, but I guess they just changed the look.

I like the lavender colour, but the trooper ink looks a bit odd with the all-white bumper. I'd imagine they'll get scuffed really easily. Sadly, they're a miss for me.

                Love them

Just got these in the mail for a steal on SAC! They are really cute, not too bubble-toed and theTrooper/India Ink looks great with jeans. I intend to wear them in cooler weather so I ordered a half size up and am wearing them with knee-high padded wool skiing socks. Delightfully comfortable!!

                  Very cutel, Very comfortable

Shoe looks great. The fit is a little funny, sometimes it pinches my heal.

I've had these shoes for about a year, wearing them roughly once a month and they aren't exactly holding up. The seam where the ball of my foot meets the sole has come undone.

                    Great summer shoe.

                    Exactly as Expected!

Loved the style, they are very cute...not super comfy but I've only had them for a week, they may still need breaking in. Still shocked by the price, I cannot believe how inexpensive they are and what a great deal backcountry.com offers! None the less, I love them and I want another pair exactly like them for back up!

                      Great fit, not long-lasting

I love the way keen shoes fit my feet- they are wider than most other brands. These sneakers are very comfortable and flexible, with a thin sole. But if you wear them every day, as i do, you may find that the lack of support makes city walking painful after a while, and that the structrual plastic heel piece cracks and breaks after a couple months, and the little aluminum gromits fall out. They are still definitely wearable, but that is more wear-and-tear than i'd like after only 6 months.

Wish I'd tried them on first...

It took ages for me to find any website that would ship these shoes to me (in Canada), so I was very pleased when I found them here. When I got the shoes, they LOOKED great and fit really well, but after walking in them for about two hours, I had terrible blisters on my heels. I ended up having to buy heel guards for the inside, and the extra padding made them fit a bit tighter front-to-back which was uncomfortable. I'm thinking about also putting insoles in, because they don't have any arch support. They're fun and look good with anything (I got the "brindle" colour) but definitely are not appropriate for hard-core walking time, like if you're on your feet a lot during the day. The front part is a lot wider which makes them really cute, but would take some getting used to if I suddenly decided to play soccer in them or something. After wearing them three or four times, I realized that the shoes were not symmetrical (the white toe-cap is slightly smaller on one, resulting in an uneven line), which didn't endear me to the brand. They were cheap but I had to pay for shipping and insoles which brought them up to the cost of any other pair of casual shoes, so overall it wasn't a great experience.

                          liked 'em

Mostly a great shoe, with just a styling preference that I would change. The good: Good canvas material, cute, comfortable fit--I like the cork insole. What I would change: I would widen out the front end more like the keen sandals and Presidio models, as well as in an ancient pair of Jack Purcell Converse shoes with similar styling (but a wider front foot bed). I think a wider front end is cute...if you can't tell. Definitely not sport tennies, but as casual shoes I really like them, and they are attractive.

                            Great shoes!

These are really lovely shoes--totally stylish and very comfortable. I can't really tell I am wearing shoes and they look better than any canvas shoe out there. I find that I can wear these red shoes with almost anything, especially jeans, and wear one other red accessory (like a bracelet, a watch, a purse) and I am totally coordinated. These are sporty, very fashionable shoes. I own six pair of Keen shoes (from sandals to backpacking shoes) and these little canvas shoes are just as comfortable as all the others I have bought. The price is also by far the lowest I have seen anywhere. It's a great deal. I highly recommend these shoes.

Does this style provide arch support like most Keens do?
