KEEN Cimarron II Water Shoe - Men's - 2010 BCS

Excellent for kayaking, swimming where zebra mussels will otherwise shred your feet to ribbons & around town on hot/rainy days. Protection, grip & breath-ability A+ with no funky smell. BEWARE, even at small men's size 8.5 they gnarled at the sides of my heels with bloody blisters until about the third time wearing. Would still get a second pair.

Three years ago I bought a pair for a five day kayak paddle on Isle Royale. They served me well in the kayak protecting my heel and hiking on open land. I have bought another pair since just for casual wear.

Got these for a trip to Zion & hoped to use em more but after a few miles in the Narrows they chaffed & cut badly into my achillies. Seem well made & had great grip in the water. Fit well but kinda hard to slip on, i do have a large volume foot though.

This is my third pair of Keen's and it won't be the last. Snug where they need to be, with enough freedom to be comfortable. They spent 5 days with me at lake havasu, and I was the only one in a group of 14 not picking rocks out of my shoes. Size seems to run true

Bought these shoes because the Keen sandals I have allow rocks and sand to get under my feet and that's a big no no as a diabetic and wanted to make sure my feet were taken care of for a week long kayaking trip in Canada. Had no problems walking with them in the water, although they were a little slick on the rocks. The biggest issue I had was I developed blisters because I wasn't smart and forgot to wear socks one day before the trip when I was "breaking them in". Only other issue was the insole moved around once or twice when I was putting them on in the morning, but nothing major.

Great shoe overall and did EXACTLY what I was hoping they would do
