Take a while to break in.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are very solid shoes. My one complaint is they seem to take a really long time to break in. Most hikers I've owned have taken maybe a week or two of consistent wearing to break in. These have taken a month. This being my first pair of KEENs, that may just be how this brand wears. All in all though they seem to be really well made and fit my feet well now.

Very comfy shoe

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I bought these shoes for a trip to colorado 7 months ago and they worked great on several half day hikes. I have worn them at work(on my feet 8 hours) every day since and not a day of sore feet! I will say that the cloth on the back heel has come undone to expose the padding underneath but this doesn't make them any less comfotable

Good light hiker

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

Pretty good for light hiking. Needs some time to break in, is a bit stiff at first. Size runs a bit large. Normally a size 13 and this is a bit big but nothing thick hiking socks cant fix

These shoes fit awesome. they keep my feet dry on hikes as well as on rainy days! the leather drys really fast, they are wide and that is a good thing! i wear these at work as well as up in the mountains at glacier NP . awesome everyday shoe

No thanks Keen

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I wore these on a couple of small day hikes. The sole on the outside feels thicker than the inside. This in turn everted my ankle. It may just be my feet but I would not recommend.

Initial Impression...

Mine just arrived. After several hours, my initial impressions... Order half size up if you have any question about sizing. Otherwise, good fit right out of the box. Footbed seems pretty hard, hoping break-in will cure that. And although advertised at 17 ounces, they feel heavier/chunkier than that on my feet. Not sure I am a fan yet, but some time will tell.
