These socks are awesome, they fit great and are warm as expected. It's like wearing 2 pairs of lighter socks without the awkward bulk! Pay more for good socks, you wont regret it!

Wow, so normally my feet overheat really easily and I hate the feel of wet socks, but it's happened in most socks I've ever worn: cotton, poly blend, wool. Not in these! They keep my feet warm in the cold (I wear them around the house with no carpet) and cool in the warm -like out for a day hike. There was 24 hours that I wouldn't even take them off i loved them so much! Plus, they're named after my college town.

You should wash them or any merino wool product inside out to reduce piling

The neat thing about these socks that they really fit great! Having a left and right sock forms to the foot, no extra fabric no bunching and they actually support my arch.they are very durable, i have three pair that i bought in 2007 and no holes!

I bought these socks for a 3 week trek across Europe. I only wore them one time because they have a seam that runs across the ball of your foot, and it is very painful. I took 2 pair of these socks, and it was a complete waste of money. Fortunately, I also took 3 pair of Bridgedale socks which happen to be the best socks I've ever owned.
