Painfully narrow

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I have worn Keen footwear for YEARS. They used to be known for their generous toe boxes and wider lasts. I know that in recent years they have started to incorporate narrower designs in order to fit a wider market. My feet are not wide but I do have flatter feet. I ordered my usual Keen size (.5 size larger than normal). Put them on as soon as I got them and within 20 minutes of wearing around the house my feet were cramping. Length was perfect. Totally bummed because I was really hoping to find something for running errands or to the gym etc in my snowy northern WI town...The search continues...

great winter shoe

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I hate, HATE shoes that are slippery in the winter. These have great traction so you don't fall, and they are slip on so you dont have to worry about shoelaces dragging through the puddles if you are a lazy shoelace-tier like myself.

Not too bad for the price

We got them on sale and for the sale price, they are great! I use them to walk the dogs early morning and on rainy cold days. They are a little narrow and tight on the top of my feet. I think they will feel a lot better once they are broken in.

My new favorite shoe!

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have been looking for a new winter shoe for the past two years without much luck- they were all either too uncomfortable, didn't keep the water out as they claimed, or broke down after just a few uses. I decided to give these a shot and was yet again completely impressed with Keen! They are warm, completely waterproof, comfortable and held up to Alaska's winter conditions- trudging through the ice and snow in -1 degree temps. I was extremely impressed with the traction- I am normally sliding all over the place but will be no longer with my new shoes.Keen didn't skimp on any of the materials or construction either- these things are solid which gives me the hope that they may last more than a couple of seasons.
My only suggestion is to size up: I am normally a 7.5 in Keens, but these are made to fit snug so I returned them for an 8.
