Offering just as much support and protection as heavier hikers, the Keen Women's Alamosa Mid WP Hiking Boot weigh in at just 14-ounces. Your feet will stay dry in the rain, safe from rocky terrain, and you'll grip instead of slip when the trails turn loose. Keen engineers have a knack for designing trail footwear that's just as comfy as it is functional, and when the miles start to add up, it'll make all the difference.
  • Rugged leather uppers have been waterproofed to provide protection against the elements
  • Waterproof breathable membrane inside this boot blocks moisture from the outside and allows sweaty vapor to escape from within
  • Drop-In heel insert and removable metatomical footbed aid foot alignment and provide the support necessary for comfortable hiking on and off trail
  • S3 heel support structure cradles your heel so, rather than your foot slipping forward when you're going downhill, your heel stays locked in place
  • Combination EVA and PU midsole and TPU shank work together to create a stable platform underfoot so you can have confidence in loose or rocky terrain
  • Rubber outsole uses multi-directional lugs that dig into the terrain for ample traction whether you're going uphill or down

Most comfortable boots ever

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I have been wearing these boots almost every day for three months. I am working outside in woods and urban environment. I have been outside in the heat as well as cold with these and they have gotten me through rain storms and even a trek through more than one stream. Even wet they are comfortable and I did not get blisters like many of my co-workers. (smartwool socks may have also helped there) They dry out quickly and have stood up well to the wear and tear I have subjected them to. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for hiker with good ankle support. Lightweight and they look good enough to wear with a pair of jeans too. I have worn size 10 in Keen before and these are true to size.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

quick to break in, only wore a couple of times for the summer. The sizing was confusing, since they recommend getting a larger size; which I did and ended up returning for my original (smaller) size. Idk, I like the boot anyhow.
Higher ankle, with good heel-secure system lacing. I wore mostly for light hiking, on rocky terrain and had no issues.
Waterproof and durable.
