KEEN Alamosa Hiking Shoe - Men's

After 1-2 hikes, the sole started tearing away on/around a few of the lugs, and also separating from the upper. On the particular color I have, the yellow paint on the sole started flaking off, as well as the grey paint on the other parts of the sole. The shoe was comfortable, however, so I'm happy with that aspect. The durability issues on the pair that I received will limit it to a non-trail shoe, but more of a coffee shop shoe. Keen customer service was very helpful and rectified the problem.

I bought these for my husband before out trip to Colorado. He loved them and said they were very comfortable. He liked the support, especially the arch. There was little breaking in with these shoes to feel comfortable. I read some reviews saying they don't hold up, but i had mine for about 4 years and even threw them in the wash and they held up fine.

I bought these based on the fact I love my other Keen shoes. However, when I got them they just didn't work for me. There was a pressure point on my left foot near my pinky toe, and my ankle bones rubbed against the top of the shoes when I walked. I guess my feet sit to far down into the shoe or something. Anyway, love Keen shoes, just not these unfortunately. I'll be returning for something else.
