A boot that feels as good as it looks.
Not every winter excursion is a soul-crushing march through endless tundra. Sometimes it's a trip down the block, or a stroll across town, or a cruise behind the house, and when looking good and staying warm have to go hand in hand, nothing beats the Keen Ace WP Men's Boot. Its oiled leather looks classic enough to wear to work or out for a drink, but its backed up by a waterproof and breathable KEEN.Dry membrane and finished with fully taped seams, so snow, sleet, and slush won't sog your socks.
Warm and dry are different sides of the same coin, so Keen also hooked the Ace up with KEEN.Warm synthetic insulation, which traps heat close to your foot for increased comfort on long, chilly walks. The removable PU footbed and tough EVA midsole cushion your feet, provide anatomic support, and offer up some insulation from the ground, while the rubber outsole keeps you stable as a table on treacherous trails and slippery sidewalks.

Great around town winter boot
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Size Bought: 10.5
I picked these up on a vacation trip to Santa Fe, NM during a cold snap (temps in the teens) and few days of snow.... my Docs weren't going to cut it. Being on vacation I wasn't looking to spend $300 for a pair of hiking/gortex/lined boots but wanted to do some walking around town, maybe light hiking, be warm, and have full waterproofing. These fit all my criteria AND they look great. I got them in black and ended up wearing them the whole trip, they're now my go-to casual winter boot.
Was a little worried about the fit. I'm a 10.5 - sometimes 11 - and with wider feet. The 10.5 felt a bit snug and the 11 felt too large. Went with the 10.5 and after adjusting the lacing they felt roomier, no hotspots as of yet.
