A female-specific last gives the boot a smooth, secure fit around a woman's foot. Which you'll appreciate miles down the trail, naturally. Of course, the boot's abrasion-resistant construction, lightweight EVA impact-absorbing cushion, and grippy Vibram soles come in handy as well. This boot doesn't contain leather... but as far as being 100% artificial? It does contain natural Coconut fibers (eVent cocona) in the shoe material.

My girlfriend rewarding herself after a tough 8mi and 4000ft elev gain. Her first summit and absolutely nothing but love for her Kaylands.
I just tried this boot on in my regular size (7) and it's narrow for sure. They fit snugly out of the box so imagine how they'll fit once you've been hiking for a few hours.

All the reviews I've read regarding Kayland fit seem to lean towards slightly on the narrow side.
