The support is very good, if you have narrow feet. I have high arches that were injured several years ago, and would usually put SuperFeet (green) insoles into my sport shoes, but I don't feel like I need to with these. We'll see how they hold up over the long run. These boots definitely immobilize the foot though, so don't expect flexible, running-shoe-like abilities.
