Kavu Chilli Lite Short - Men's - 2007 BCS

This are great! Lite weight, great fit. Love them so much i have them in 4 colors. I am a 31 waist and the medium is the right fit.

I am the sales rep for Kavu and several other companies, but year-in and year-out these shorts are what I wear climbing, hiking, and hanging out! Great fit, roomy pockets and lightweight cotton make them perfect!

Nice shorts for playing around. I will get another pair or two next time they make it to SAC.

These are unquestionably the whole package. Very very solid construction, built-in belt, good length, everything. These shorts can take just about anything. I've worn these playing sports, hiking, kayaking, biking, everything. They stay on no matter what. One thing - the pockets are a bit oddly shaped. Sometimes my wallet, phone, or keys fall out pretty easily. That can become fairly problematic. But besides that, absolutely wonderful.

Got these from a deal on SAC. I am pretty tall and slim and the mediums were wayyy up my thighs. They look cool, have sweet pockets, and fit in the crouch pretty well but I wouldn't recommend them for those tall skinny boys with some tan line issues.

These shorts are amazing. I bought them for my boyfriend and they look nice enough to wear for casual occasions around town but also make great climbing shorts. They look really flattering, he gets compliments all the time. I wish they made these for women!

I was expecting these to be a bit longer in the leg. They are definitely shorter than I would like--no obscenely short, but not something you can wear in a social setting either.

Wish I would have bought a smaller size. I got a medium and they are a little too big. I usually wear a 31 or 32.

I wear these everytime I can wear shorts. Comfortable, great pockets, and super-durable.

These are my new favorite shorts. After wearing them a few times I bought a second pair. Just like the description says - durability of canvas without the weight. Bought them for climbing - durable against the rock (should hold up for years), great freedom of movement, and light. Because of the lighter material they are very comfortable and fit better, "sit" better, and look better IMHO than the Chilliwack short. Great for hiking and look nice enough to wear anywhere. They run a little big in the waist, but I get the same size as usual for me and cinch the belt a bit. As others have mentioned, they run a little shorter than most shorts. I wouldn't call them short-shorts, but don't expect them to come down to your knees. This is a reason NOT to drop down to a smaller waist size - then they would be even shorter down the legs. I like the length as it gives good freedom of movement in climbing. Last - the webbing belt seems to get fitted to where you place it in the buckle and is hard to adjust later. My advice: fit the belt where you want it then don't gain or lose any weight - these shorts are worth it.

These shorts are much shorter than they appear... but if you like your shorts really short then go for it - they are good other than that! I exchanged them for the Mt. Hardwear Canyon shorts and I love those!

I had a hard time finding KAVU products locally, thankfully this site has a great selection! I got these for casual wear and working around the house...Thus far I have put in a flagstone patio and 130' split rail fence while wearing these great shorts and they still look as good as new! They fit true to size and have ample pocket space without the bulk. The fabric is durable and the built in belt is slim and adjustable. These are great shorts!

Be careful when figuring out what size to order; the shorts run a little small.
