ehh...kinda junky

Only wore it twice. Bought a Medium (5'10" 185 lbs) and it fit weird. I couln't find a good time of year in North Dakota to wear it. It's not warm enough for most of fall, winter, and spring. I couldn't layer under it or wear more then a T-shirt because it was too tight. The bottom hand pockets also make it flare out and look wide and awful.

The second time I did give it a shot, I put a piece of paper in the chest pocket and the button came off! I had it 6 months or so, way longer then Backcountry's return policy, but as awesome as they are, they just returned it and gave me my money back for it.

One positive, I liked the Walnut color.

    Picture is deceiving

Let me start by saying it is definitely the quality you would expect from Kavu, for example: metal buttons are awesome; style is sweet, although the picture makes the piece seem much more refined then in person. I went with the charcoal and it looks like something out of a Woolrich catalog, in terms of the material; like a big sweater. Feels true to size in the chest. The wrist opening is definitely large, so its either large or snug. I'm going for the size small, in navy, to try and see if it's a bit more refined, so i can rock it at work, and still maintain some semblance of professionalism and sanity at the same time. Definitely a sweet piece though

This shirt/jacket looks like a slim fit, but other Kavu products have always been baggy on me. How does this one really fit?

I"m 6'1, 160. A medium in backcountry gear fits me well.
