The mountain's a big place with a whole mess of different terrain, but the Kastle FX84 Ski is designed to every inch of it with ease. It's a fairly traditional board by today's standards, with traditional camber underfoot, an early-rise tip, and a slightly raised tail that provide plenty of grip on hardpack, agility in tight spots, and float in moderately soft snow. Kastle made sure it had a super-consistent single-radius sidecut that provides stable and easy turning no matter where on the hill you're skiing, and a energetic ash and silver fir core that has a fun and lively feel that's been boosted with two layers of super-stable Titanal and fiberglass for a powerful flex that wants to rally down the hill whether the snow's soft, hard, or chunky.
The FX84 also features Kastle's famous Hollowtech tip inserts, which reduce the weight of the shovel by 15%, helping eliminate the tip chatter and vibration that can make tip rocker feel like an out-of-control bucking bronco. This just increases the smoothess of the FX84's already-smooth ride, and we haven't even taken the hook-free tip and tail or multiple rubber dampeners that are built into the ski. Taken together, all this tech makes the FX84 one of the dampest, smoothest skis available, so you'll be able to conquer all sorts of rugged terrain like a true all-mountain boss.
