Kasper and Richter collaborated with the BRK Mountain Rescue Service and came up with the durable, precise Sherpa BW2 Sighting Compass. A lot of mirror-sighting compasses have adjustable declination and a triple sighting system, but the Sherpa BW2 Sighting Compass goes a few steps further with an unbreakable polished aluminum sighting mirror and a thermo-elastic, fluid-filled capsule. The Sherpa BW2 Compass' flexible capsule prevents bubbles that often occur with temperature changes and hairline cracks that appear after an accidental drop. Unlike fragile glass or Plexiglas, the sighting mirror's solid metal housing and a durable ABS lid put up with trail abuse.

Hey Egan,

How to explain this?....yes it does. There's a small tool that has two pins that lock into a pair of holes on the bottom of the dial. If you look closely at the picture, you can see them. You then hold the outer bezel ring and turn it while the tool holds the inner in place. Hope this helps.
