Stand tall this winter.
Show that your colors don't run this winter in the seam-taped Kamik Men's Patriot 5 Boots. Fully waterproof, and with furnace-like warmth, this boot keeps your feet feeling great, whether you're spending long days on the sledding hill with the kids or just going out for a fresh stack of wood. The buffalo leather upper is totally waterproof and extra durable to withstand any weather you may encounter on the trail, while the 400B 3M Thinsulate insulation keeps toes toasty warm with a -58F temperature rating. Moisture-wicking and antibacterial, the Patriot 5s keep your feet dry while fighting off the funk from multiple day use, and have a shock-absorbing EVA midsole to prevent your dogs from barking too early in the day. Icy ground never stood a chance with the extra-grippy Vanquish rubber outsole underfoot.

- Q & A
Kamik Patriot 5 boot
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 11
I had previously owned a pair of Kamik Cody boots and had been quite impressed with them. Perhaps there is a significant difference in the US and Asian-based manufacturing, as these boots did not have the same level of quality. Straight out of the box I noticed several inconsistencies and lumps along the seams and loose threads. The fit was also quite bad, as the lower portion of the lacing could not be pulled snug against the top of my foot despite leveraging the laces quite strongly. The material of this part of the boot is quite stiff, and will not snug down across the top of the foot. Moreover, I found two gaping holes inside the right boot where the stitching had either not been completed, or had blown open. I didn't even bother trying to wear these. Perhaps I got a bad pair, but I wouldn't purchase another pair of made-in-Asia boots again.
