The all-mountain K2 World Piste Telemark Ski gives intermediate to advanced tele skiers a smooth, damp yet lively ride. K2 put a titanal metal laminate in the World Piste Skis to boost torsional rigidity so you can lay tracks in the hardpack. Fly off the hard pack and into a power glade thanks to a floaty, wide tip. The World Piste elastomeric core dampens unwanted vibrations which means you can arc out turns and straight line chutes with confidence whether you are rocking Chamonix or Squaw Valley.

I used to love this ski, until the metal ply in them permanently bent. Less than 100 days out. No warranty from K2 for this lame excuse for a hardcore tele ski. Buy something that will last - or at least will be backed up by the manufacturer!

Hi, I bought a pair of 2008 K2 Wold Piste from you a few years ago and need new skins, Do you know the ski dimensions? Also, do you have any recommendations for the heavy, wet, west coast Sierra snow?

I purchased these skis 2 weeks ago. I had an alpine ski that I had mounted G3 Targas on. The World Pistes opened up a whole new telemark turn for me. They turn incdredibly well on ice, hard pack, crude, and bumps. I tele in the east so I haven't had the experience of using these skis in the powder but I imagine they will do just fine. I have G3 Targa T9s on them with X-Mountain cartridges which seem to be a perfect fit. They keep getting better every time I take them out. I love them.

The two skis were different graphics last year. The Graphics were supposed to be inspired by images of the Filmore shows back in the 60's or 70's. One of the skis had an image of a man whom many believed looked like Jimi Hendrix, thus, because his image is copyrighted, K2 was forced to replace that ski. Now they are both the same graphics.

I got a pair of these a few seasons back, so this isn't for this season's skis, but I love the World Pistes. GREAT all-around skis and I haven't regretted the purchase yet. K2 makes great planks. They've held up very well to three seasons of abuse and with any luck should have several more in them. These definitely aren't a powders ski but they'll do the job in a pinch. The only place I've been underwhelmed is trying to ski these puppies in really crusty snow, though that's probably more my own fault than the fault of the skis.
