With the K2 Turbo Dream strapped to your feet you can make fantasies about anything from backcountry kickers to chest deep pillow runs become a reality. All Terrain Rocker and Hybritech construction allow you to make the whole mountain your playground.

  • Wille Yli-Luoma's board of choice- Other pros are jealous of this ride
  • Hybritech construction provides you with a low swing weight, plenty of durability, and optimized turn initiation- This board features Hybritaper which amplifies the benefits of Hybritech construction
  • All Terrain Rocker floats through powder like a dream and turns on crud without delay which allows you to roam wherever you please
  • Triax fiberglass on top with ICG-10 on the base combines the best of both worlds, giving you maximum edge hold and increased stability
  • Matrix I carbon extends from the center of the board to the edge in order to generate maximum turning and ollie power

Bottom Line: So dreamy.

Which Size: 156 vs 159?

I'm 5'10", ~200-210 lbs, Size 10.5US Boots. Ride mostly east coast (NJ/PA/sVT), so less powder/more ice. 75% cruising/all mtn, 25% park.
Think I'm gonna get the TD, trouble deciding on a size - will 156 be too small?

yes 156 is too small, really the 161 would be the better size for you since you do a lot of all mountain stuff... height has nothing to do with sizing either

Powder Dreams

I rode a 156 Burton Custom for a number of years and was quite pleased with the board. That is until I got my K2 Turbo Dream. I love this board. It has nice flex and the all-terrain rocker is great for slaying groomers or cruising powder. I weigh about 160 and was really hung up on sizing and finally decided on the 156 because it is a size I am used to and I figured I would be able to flex and ride the board a little harder than I could a 159. Also I am an all around rider so I wanted an all around board. Sweet ride! There is no set color base for each size so ordering one is exciting because you don't know what color you will get until it arrives!

Great Board

By:

Im 5'8" 175lbs - My previous board was a Burton 158 Custom - I wanted a board that would give me better maneuverability in the woods (where I spend most of my time). The K2 Turbo Dream gave me exactly what I wanted. I opted for the 156cm and am happy w/ my choice. This board has good flex and requires less effort to transition edge to edge and manuever through trees or bumps. I paired it w/ the K2 Cinch Bindings and F20 Salomon boots (which have a smaller outer shell making for a better fit w/ the cinch technology).

looking at this specific board 159 would be good for you, you could even do a little bigger if you wanted if you don't do park a lot

Fun board

By: Backcountry.com Employee

I got to ride this board this weekend and had a blast on it. Really fun for laying some trenches on the groomers and really easy to release spins on jumps. Didn't get to ride any powder so i didn't get the full experience this board was designed for, but still really fun and loose. The reverse camber was definitely a little awkward on rails at first.
