You're stoked on the rocker idea (effortless floating in pow) but you want a stick that can ride hardpack too. Lucky for you, pro-rider Wille Yli-Luoma, K2, and artist Antii Rastivo wrestled All Terrain rocker technology and pop colors into the K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard. The Turbo Dream's short hyper progressive edge makes for smooth, quick turns on hardpack, the mellow, pre-set Rocker can handle park laps, and a stiff nose and tail let you float pillow lines. K2 extended carbon to the edge of this reverse-camber board for a combination of pop and edge control. Your buddies will be drooling over the aged metal badge and an Inca Warrior inscription on your Turbo Dream.
Bottom Line: A mellow rocker for the park and the pow.
I used to ride a K2 Zeppelin but went for the turbo dream for the 08/09 season over another very popular board brand. This board is sick! Very stable at high speeds and fun in the park. Give it try, the rocker on this board is perfect for anything you encounter. I enjoy the whole mountain experience and if you're like me, this board is the choice.
Nothing. It's an all mountain board, so it'll handle park just fine. However, there are boards made exclusively for park riding, so check those out if that's where you spend all your time.if you are looking for an all mountain board but rides better in the park then the turbo dream then go with the jib pan. It was two more torsion forks and i believe it has harsh mellow aswell. same price but better ride in the park. More snap on hard pack turns and more pop then the turbo dream.

great board, amazing float (it does feel like you're dreaming in Turbo..:) Fast, great pop, and really fun and playfull. Took some getting use to, at high speed carving, Had to keepadjusting my stance, eneded up with a wide centered stance felt the most stable and resposive. I'm a little dissapointed with thedurabillity, 5 days out and got a nasty crack on the topsheet, sending it back for a replacement..:(
It has a sintered base, so it's going to go fast. A lot of your speed is determined by how you take care of it though. If you never wax it, no board is fast. But after a fresh coat of wax, you should fly.And for the terrain park, it'll be ok. Remember it's an all mountain board though, so it's meant for the park, AND the backcountry on those awesome powder days. So if all you do is hang out in the park, I'd maybe look into something different.
It takes a couple of runs to get used to the reverse camber, but once you get a feel for it you will see how smooth this board is. I was impressed on how responsive the board is and how little effort you need to ride it. It floats incredibly on deep powder, and also you have a lot of control and can turn easily on hard packed and icy runs (It has a fairly soft flex, but not too excessive). I love this thing.
Yuppers cjhaan. your boot will be to large for this board, you will need a wide board specifically for a boot size 12 .... Ya DiggggDude you should be fine i set up a turbo dream today with some xl formulas and burton Mottos is a 12 if the angles are at 15 with toes pointing away from each other you should be fine. I wear a twelve and have never had to ride a wide board.
This board is an amazing over-all board, the rocker is strange to ride at first but you adjust very quickly, (it forces you to stay centered constantly) its a fairly soft flex, but still kills at free riding. It has great edge hold if you stay centered, if not its a fairly sketchy ride. A very fast base, and crazy float make this board my favorite for all-around riding.
