These are a new design all around compared to the past few years (blue climbing skins direct version). First, I do like the new tip attachment. The older z-clip metal would bend after repeated laps peeling skins with skis still on. However, the better designed z-clip doesn't override my 1 star review because a good tip & tail attachment is worthless without good glue! I agree with other reviews these are good for warmer weather. But even keeping these skins in my jacket the glue stops sticking after 2 or 3 laps (and I am super careful not to get snow on my glue). I am super bummed about this because I have 4 different models of K2 skis and really like the tip/tail attachment and pre-cut for some of my other models.

I have used these skins for a few seasons now, and they have not failed me. great grip, maybe not the best glide, but I think they have the best ski attachment system going. I ski with a dog a ton and he has never popped off the tails walking on my skis, which says alot. The trim tool does a great job to give a custom skin pretty easily.
