Beware of the K2 Women’s T Nine Tru Luv Ski w/ Marker ERP 10.0 Q Binding. Pretty soon you’ll use all your PTO days (and sick days) to rip around the mountain. This lightweight, forgiving ski inspires confidence and turns you into a ski addict.
Bioflex wood core weighs very little but responds to a lady skier’s every movement
Triaxial fiberglass braiding around the core lends extra torsional rigidity and response
Mod Monic technology helps provide a damp and smooth ride in variable terrain
Slight rockered tip helps you blast through crud in choppy snow
Marker ERP 10.0 Q Binding System helps maintain a continuous smooth flex when you ski, and it generates more power, precision, and quickness underfoot
Looking for an all mountian ski for my wife. She's 46, 5'6", 125, and skis lots of big montaim groomers and bumps (Jackson and Big Sky) and is learning to venture into the soft. She skied for years on deep side cut Atomics that were great near our eastcoast home but too small undserfoot on anything that was not ice (west of the Mississippi). Looking for a ski to last the next decade. THANKS
I just purchased K2Tru Luv skis size 142 last week. I have been using 170s for the last twenty years of skiing. I am 5'2" and am an intermediate skier. Last week I rented 140s and seemed to cross the tips frequently. I haven't been skiing for 10 years. Did I go too small? Should I move up to 149? I haven't used them yet and second quessing myself. Help me?
My wife skis the K2 Tru Luv in a 160 and loves them. My daughter tried them last week and she fell in love with them too. Todays ski tech. allows you to use a shorter ski and still have great performance, however, if you have been using a 170 ski, moving to a 149 or even a bit longer will be an easier transition for you.
This is my second season skiing and these skis really helped me venture into the intermediate level! They carve great in the ice and are so easy to manipulate. I went skiing about 30 times last year and was able to really push myself. The only negative thing I can say is that they are a little sluggish. Sometimes I would have trouble keeping up with my friends. Overall a great beginner ski!! This year I bought the K2 SuperFree, I'll let you know how they are! :)

looking for a set of new skis. Live and ski on the east in the mid-atlantic region. So mostly groomers, ice, and some fresh stuff mixed in. This is my second year of skiing and I am a mature lady.
Have used rentals in the past. I'm not a black diamond girl yet and mostly enjoy the blues and greens. Heard good things about K2 and trying to decide between the sweet luv and true luv. Also, I'm 5-2 and have only used 140's in the past, will I have any trouble with 142's?
I used to ski the Tru Luv for several years before purchasing a pair of Burnin' Luv. I loved these skis, especially when i was skiing blues/greens. Once i improved to the blacks though, i wanted a stiffer ski. These are very forgiving and will help your skiing improve. As far as length goes, a 142 will be fine. K2 changed the way they measure their skis, so a 142 is the same as a 140 in most other brands. In fact, my Tru Luv's were an '05 model and were a 153. The new skis are a 156, but the exact same length as the older 153. Hope this helps!
I just bought the True Luvs. I have only been skiing for 5 years and ski mainly greens and blues. I ski in the east and I ski very often. The True Luvs are amazing in the ice! Not bad with the lumpy snow either. I have the Burnin Luvs too but find them too slippery on ice for my skiing style even though they are great in softer snow. I am 5'3" and ski a 149.
156cm if you are an intermediat to advanced skier. 163cm if you are an expert who likes long skis and to go very fast. At 150lbs you can ski the shorter ski. I sold a woman who was 5'11" a k2 one luv 149cm(she was thin and it was in a demo center) She loved it. I am 5'5" and weigh 130 and I love the 156cm (burnin luv, free luv, and one luv. Haven't tried the true luv. I don't like short skis. Most women don't like skis longer than 158cm but I know a few who like longer ones. I also loved the 156cm ski (burnin and one luv) when i was 145lbs two years ago. It goes more by weight than height. Demoing is the best way to decide. Some people like longer, some like shorter. The 149 is probably too short. 156 is a very versatile length for a large variety of women.
