Are the K2 sizes true/accurate? For some reason I have a feeling

Are the K2 sizes true/accurate? For some reason I have a feeling that K2 ran their measurements slightly differently.

You are correct, K2 is a little funny with their sizing. In 2003 or 04? They re-designed their skis (notably the tip) which brought the "effective" edge of the ski forward another 6 cm. This allows for a shorter ski to "feel" like it is actually longer, Therefore for sizing, they recomended to drop down a size from what you would be on another brand, or their previous years. Hope that makes sence.
