K2 wants you to star on its ‘Ski of Love’ reality show, which features the Women’s T Nine Lotta Luv Ski w/ Marker ERS 11.0 TC Binding as one of its all-mountain ski contestants. You’ll find this ripping, expert-level ski’s 82mm waist and progressive sidecut extremely hard to resist.

  • Bioflex core, made of fused fir and spruce, keeps the ski light and easy to maneuver in the steeps and tight trees
  • Metal laminate construction, made of layers of fiberglass and Titanal above and below the wood core, helps provide a damp and smooth ride in variable terrain
  • Lifted tip aids in flotation in powdery snow and quicker turn initiation in any condition
  • Mod technology reduces vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski for a stronger edge-hold and control when you rip around the mountain
  • Marker ERS 11.0 TC Binding System helps maintain smooth flexing of the ski and is a full pound lighter than last year’s model

Bottom Line: It’s easy to see who the winner will be this season.

please, please answer me, I'm 5'9 tall and 65 kg, (143 pounds) I'm not an expert skier, more like an intermediate to advanced. They were sold out of the 163 size, so I bought 159 cm. Is it too short for me? Can I still ride it? I heard you need to buy a bit longer ski if it has a rocker, but this one only has a tip rocker only 10%. So is it still ok to ride it?

Great all mountain ski. The more I ski and trust them the more I love them. Skied all conditions - groomers, moguls, crud and powder (6 inches) and they are great. Easy turn initiation and fun. Buy them!!!

Love them! Fab on steeps and groomers and quick turns in bumps. Not much experience with them in powder, but I can't wait for the chance.

I've watched six of these clips now and they seem more like previews than reviews. You've cut them into way too many pieces. e.g. Put all of the women's together and let it roll. There's nothing wrong with a 3 minute clip.
BTW,The production value on these clips suck. First off, if you're showing skis either do it on snow or in a shop. Not where it's summer. Second, you guys have clipped them down so short that the intro is almost as long as the ski talk. We know who you are, you don't need the Backcountry.com slate in EVERY SINGLE LITTLE CLIP.

I am not an advanced-expert skier. However, I demoed these skis

I am not an advanced-expert skier. However, I demoed these skis on groomed slopes and liked it. I currently have K2 First Luv and know I need to move up to a more advanced ski. I consider myself a good intermediate skier. Is there another ski I should consider or should I just ignore the advanced-expert tag on the Lotta Luvs?

Buy the Lotta Luvs - as you ski them you will get more comfortable and raise your game. They are the top of the range for K2 all mountain womens ski and they are great on everything. i've comfortably used them on ice, bumps, slush, powder, etc. I have the 2010 Lotta Luvs and they are twin tip camber. The 2011s are rocker/camber. Whether you buy last years or this years, i don't think you will regret it.

Try demoing the Free luv, it is there as a stepping stone between something like the first luv and the lotta luv.

Loved the 2011s

By:
January 7, 2011

I tested them last year, and the 2011s are different. The ones here are the new ones, w/rocker. They're quite different from last year's. I made sure they were the 2011s before ordering them. I loved the new ones!

Was the K2 rocker technology introduced for the 09/10 season

Was the K2 rocker technology introduced for the 09/10 season or just the 10/11 season? I want the lotta luvs with rocker but do not want to pay $1000 so I'm looking at last season's lotta luvs. I can buy last season's LLs for $600 but I need to know if they have the rocker technology.

I'm just about 100% sure that the 2010/11 is the first year for the "rocker" profile. My wife rode last years and I know there was no early rise on those. This is also the first year K2 has had the varying degree of "rocker" in their entire production line.
