An all-mountain free-wheeling ski.

If you listened carefully to the song the K2 Women's SuperFree Ski with Marker ER3 10.0 Binding sings, you'll probably hear the words catwalk, model, and too sexy. The explanation is simple: as part of the K2 SuperModel line, the SuperFree is a hot number that combines the passion of femme fatales with the energy and technological tenacity of Nobel-caliber ski freaks to give you a lightweight, women-specific, all-mountain ski. Rip up the groomers, romp through the lumps, or jump off-piste with confidence on the K2 SuperFree.

The all-terrain rocker profile has a front tip rocker contact point that starts closer to the binding for a more graded rise, giving you lift over chunky crud, without nose-diving tendencies. Positive camber underfoot plus a flat tail offer you maximum edge contact and uncompromising control when you're powering turns over hardpack and crud. The rocker is simply a piece of the bigger picture, and K2 developed RoX technology to complement the rocker profile.

A technology integrating complete ski construction from the core outward, RoX is K2's standard for effortless turn initiation and unshakeable edging. Made from the BioFlex 2 core, a 70-30 blend of aspen and paulownia, the SuperFree ski craves a more assertive skiing style than its body-double, the Superific. Triaxial braiding, K2's unique method for applying fiberglass reinforcements to a wood core without adversely affecting responsiveness or bounce, covers the core. An X-shaped web of carbon rises up from the ski at the points farthest from the core (where the rocker starts to rise) for additional torsional rigidity. MOD suspension lies directly atop the carbon web and absorbs vibrations to reduce noise and chatter for a quieter ride regardless of snow conditions.

Hybritech sidewall construction is a mix between sidewall and cap construction to give you the best of both worlds. You get accuracy and power from the sidewall aspect, and lightweight, smooth turning ability from the cap construction. Versatile construction combined with RoX technology makes the SuperFree a super-versatile, all-mountain ski.

K2 teamed with Marker to create the ER3 binding. The ER3 is shorter and softer than men's bindings, giving you smoother flexing without the weight. The toe is 20% lighter than before, and a fixed heel design generates power, precision and responsiveness under foot. The DIN rating ranges from 3.0 to 10.0, so as you get more comfortable on this stick, you can have the binding adjusted to accommodate your ever-increasing confidence on the snow.
