It all starts at the beginning and the K2 Kids’ Mini Turbo Snowboard gives young rippers the technology to match their emerging talents. Built with an all-wood core for durability and response, and K2’s Catch Free Rocker technology that shortens the learning curve, the Mini Turbo is one of the most technological boards with future X-Games winners in mind.

  • Catch-Free Rocker profile delivers a smoother more predictable ride
  • Hybrilight construction lowers overall weight without sacrificing stability, and uses less waste during production
  • 2000 Extruded base is fast, durable, and easy to maintain
  • Dual Progressive shape makes for responsive fun riding on any terrain
  • Biax top & base ensures durability and responsiveness

Bottom Line: Fast, fun, and built specifically for little rippers.

K2 Mini Turbo for my 7 year old

Haven't received the board yet but from I've read this board is exactly what my boy needs. He already had a K2 Stinger. Very difficult to find good kids boards.

Okay, I know this sounds nuts, but....
I'm a 50 year old athletic guy, who loves skiing all levels, purely for fun, nothing to prove, and only 10 or less days per year. Loved skiing the old "fatties"—short fat skis, no poles, pure body english. Regular skis blow in comparison. What if I got two of these, made them skis, mounted real ski bindings, and used them for all condition fun boards (100CM)?

bad plan, these are 22cm wide at the narrowest part, you'd have to ski with a crazy wide stance and would trip over yourself. plus they're $160x2 plus bindings?
what you are looking for still exists. search for "ski boards" or "ski blades." you can get a pair with bindings for the price of one of these things.
