Time to get happy.
Studies have shown that the average American drinks 44 gallons of soda a year. That's a lot of pop. Speaking of Americans getting phat, the K2 Happy Hour Snowboard has more pop than almost any other board in the industry. This giant amount of sweet, fizzy goodness is a result of the Happy Hour's combination of a Precision Lifted profile, Carbon Web, and Ollie Bar.
Happy Hour begins with K2's Precision Baseline profile. This hybrid camber profile uses a flat, lifted center section and rounded tip and tail 'Tweekend' rockered areas. The result is tons of edge control without the bite of camber. The twin shape uses K2's Twin Hyper Progressive sidecut, with an infinite number of turn radii that progress from mellow at the tips to aggressive between the bindings. The result is a predictable feel with tons of control, but with mellow, non-hooking contact points at the tip and tail. It's K2's perfect blend of precision and forgiveness. To dampen the ride a bit and absorb shock and vibration, K2 included Harshmellow inserts under the bindings.
The WH3 core is made up of three types of renewable wood, strategically laid out to increase strength, reduce weight, and dampen. K2 added Carbon Web stringers for additional stiffness and a carbon, Kevlar, and glass pre-loaded Ollie Bar for unheard-of pop at the tip and tail, and finished off the recipe with the ultra-fast 4000 sintered base.
