If an ideal day on the mountain for you consists of slashing pow and dropping cliffs in the morning, followed by laying down rail tricks and boosting the big jumps in the park after lunch, then the K2 Men's Ender Boa Snowboard Boot is the boot for you. A supportive, highly customizable fit and Harshmellow cushioning make it a standout in the park, and it ain't exactly a slouch when it comes heading into the backcountry, either.

Traditional lacing allows you to adjust the tightness in specific places so you can get loose for tweaked slides during rail sessions and tighten it up when you're sending the big booter. The Boa Conda liner lacing system adjusts the liner from the outside to conveniently and securely lock your foot in place to prevent heel lift and foot fatigue, and Endo construction uses a urethane structure with flex zones that increase in stiffness towards the spine of the boot to provide additional support and a lively feel. An Intuition Pro Foam 3D liner molds to the shape of your foot for a comfy, custom fit, which improves response and board feel by making the boot feel like an extension of your foot.

The Grip Lite outsole is lightweight and grippy to provide traction on icy hikes without weighing you down. High-rebound Harshmellow cushioning in the heel and forefoot dampens vibrations for a smoother ride and absorbs shock to make landings softer and more controlled. Harshmellow is also featured in the dual-density EVA footbed for even more cushioning to help you ride away from bomb drops and overshot landings.

First off, these boots have the Conda system, which is awesome! If you have ever experienced problems with heel lift, Conda is a simple, rock-solid solution. The combination of laces on the outside allows you to customize a fit best-suited for your foot type and riding style.

I am a small guy ~140lbs and have been riding for fifteen years. I splitboard 20+ days a season, bootpack 10+ days a season and typically get 50+ total days a year. I bought the Ender (August 2013) because of the 6/10 flex rating. I ride very aggressively, but for a smaller individual this boot is plenty stiff for almost all riding scenarios (obviously not border-cross or ice faces in Chamonix).

Overall this boot rocks! I was extremely surprised at how much I enjoy the Ender for splitboard tours. It was designed as a freestyle boot; however, the ability to release the Conda while touring then crank it tight at the top is a life saver. For me, it has really saved a great deal of calf soreness and foot fatigue on longer tours.

This boot survived many adventures this year, and the flex is the same as the first day I put it on. The Intuition liners "pack-out" after a few days riding, so don't worry about paying for a heat mold; unless you really really want to. Then, by all means, mold em!

My recommendation, if Backcountry is selling this boot under $200..... Buy it. Buy it! Buy it!!

Hey do K2's fit? Average, narrow,...

Hey do K2's fit? Average, narrow, wide? Thanks.

K2 uses a "C" last size for their entire line of snowboard boots, as opposed to a "B" sized last used frequently by companies like Burton or Flow. A "C" last is wider than a "B" last. Pair the wider last with the high density Intuition liners, and this boot will fit like a glove even if you go a half size small for a more performance-focused fit.
